Grade 7 titanium sheet (Ti-0.2pd) is a d-type titanium alloy sheet made from industrial pure titanium by adding a small amount of precious metal Pd. The addition of Pd not only significantly improves the corrosion resistance of the alloy in reducing medium, but also improves its corrosion resistance in oxidizing medium. In various chlorine-containing media at high temperature and high concentration, the crevice corrosion resistance of grade 7 titanium alloy sheet is the best. Grade 7 titanium sheet also has the best resistance to crevice corrosion. Other grades of titanium sheets have similar properties, so this alloy sheet is widely used in the chemical industry. Grade 7 Because the addition of Pd increases the cost of titanium, when industrial pure titanium cannot meet the conditions of use, grade 7 titanium sheets are often used.
