Typical heat treatment process for Ti-6A1-4V alloy.
① Stress relief annealing: 600℃, 2~4h, air cooling.
②Factory annealing: 700℃, 2h, air cooling, or 800℃, 1h, air cooling.
③Recrystallization annealing: 930C, 4h, furnace cooling to 480℃, air cooling after discharge
④Double annealing: 940℃, 10min, air cooling +700°℃, 4h, air cooling.
⑤Solid solution treatment over-aging: 940C, 10min, water cooling +700°C, 4h, air cooling.
⑥Solution treatment + aging: 940C, 10min, water cooling +540C, 4h, air cooling, or 900℃, 30min, water cooling +500℃, 8h, air cooling.
