Titanium 6AL4V and 6AL4V ELI---alloys made of 6% Aluminum and 4% Vanadium, are the most commonly used types of titanium in medicine. Because of its coordination with the human body, these titanium alloys are widely used in medical procedures and body piercings. 

Also known as Gr. 5 and Gr. 23, when used in dental implants, the implant process starts with inserting a titanium screw into the jaw. Screws are similar to the roots of teeth. After a specified time has elapsed to allow the bone to grow into the medical grade titanium screws, fake teeth is connected to the implants. Titanium has also become an important part of the medical field due to its corrosion resistance, biocompatibility and innate ability to integrate with human bones.
